Day Visit & Treatment Package Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change unexpectedly and we will always do our best to assist where possible. To ensure fairness for all guests and to maintain the smooth operation of our services, please review our cancellation policy below:

Japanese Bath House Cancellation Policy

  1. INTRODUCTION

(a) This policy set out the cancellation policy of JBH BLUE MOUNTAINS PTY LTD ABN 70 681 701 388 trading as “Japanese Bath House” (Japanese Bath House, our, we, or us) for bookings made by you(being the individual, company or legal person purchasing our services) (you, your) for our services including Day Visits, Treatment Packages and Accommodation Bookings (Bookings).

(b) You will have been taken to have accepted this policy by making a Booking whether made online, via email, in-person or otherwise by making payment for our services.

(c) We understand that your plans can change unexpectedly and we will do our best to assist with modifying your Booking where possible. However, as a small business, this policy is necessary to help ensure fairness to all guests and to maintain smooth operation of our business.

(d) If you wish to make any changes, modifications, or cancellations (Changes) to any Booking, you must contact us via email. For the purposes of determining the time that you made the request for a Change to your Booking, we will deem your request to have been made at the time that we received your request (e.g. when we receive your email or in person query)

2. DAY VISIT & TREATMENT PACKAGES

(a) This clause applies to all Bookings for Day Visits & Treatment Packages, including access to our bath house, treatments, or Private Buro (but does not include any packages which include accommodation) (Day Booking).

(b) To the extent permitted by law, for any Changes to your Day Booking:

(i) More than 48 hours prior to the start of your Day Booking: We will charge a $30 administration fee per Change (including changing the date or time of your Day Booking).

(ii) Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours prior to the start of your Day Booking: You cannot make any Changes to your Day Booking during this time. If you wish to cancel your Day Booking (including if you want to rebook), we will charge a fee of 50% of the fees paid for your Day Booking. The remaining 50% of the fees will be refunded to you via your original payment method.

(iii) Less than 24 hours prior to your Day Booking: You cannot make any Changes to your Day Booking during this time. If you wish to cancel your Day Booking (including if you want to rebook), we will charge a fee of 100% of the fees paid for your Day Booking.

(c) You may transfer your Day Booking into the name of another guest for the same services for the same date and time. We will not charge an administration fee for this type of request.

(d) If you do not attend your Day Booking at the specified date or time (including if you arrive too late for us to complete the services included in your Day Booking), you will not be provided with a refund and you will need to pay to rebook your Day Booking.

3. ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATION

(a) This clause applies to all Bookings which include overnight accommodation at our property, including where that Booking is inclusive of other services such as treatments or bath house access (Accommodation Booking).

(b) To the extent permitted by law, for any Changes to your Accommodation Booking:

(i) More than 5 days prior to the start of your Accommodation Booking: We will charge a $30 administration fee per Change to your Accommodation Booking (including changing the date or time of your Accommodation Booking).

(ii) Less than 5 days but more than 24 hours prior to the start of your Accommodation Booking: You cannot make any Changes to your Accommodation Booking during this time. If you wish to cancel your Accommodation Booking (including if you want to rebook), we will charge a fee of 50% of the fees paid for your Accommodation Booking. The remaining 50% of the fees will be refunded to you via your original payment method.

(iii) Less than 24 hours prior to your Accommodation Booking: You cannot make any Changes to your Accommodation Booking during this time. If you wish to cancel (including if you want to rebook), we will charge a fee of 100% of the fees paid for your Accommodation Booking.

(c) For the avoidance of doubt, after you make your Accommodation Booking, you cannot change the number of attendees for that Booking. For example, if you book a package for 2 people, we cannot provide a refund if only 1 person is able to attend.

(d) If you do not attend your Accommodation Booking at the specified date or time (including if you arrive too late for us to complete the services included in your Accommodation Booking), you will not be provided with a refund and you will need to pay to rebook your Accommodation Booking.
