Gardener & General Maintenance

Job Description:

We are seeking a healthy and fit individual to join our team as general maintenance personnel. The role is very important as it involves a variety of tasks including cleaning, gardening, general maintenance, and handyman duties to ensure our bath house and surrounding areas are in pristine condition.

Weekday Responsibilities 

  • Checking and testing water quality on a daily basis
  • General maintenance around the property, including repairing, gardening, repainting etc
  • Handyman tasks and gardening jobs as assigned and required

Weekend Responsibilities (During Opening Hours):

  • Pre-opening cleaning of all outdoor facilities and garden maintenance
  • General upkeep of accommodation and other area within our premises 

Requirements:

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and a dedicated work ethic and craftsmanship.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Strong team players with a positive and can-do attitude.
  • Physical stamina and fit and able to lift and carry heavy supplies & equipment as needed.
  • Ability to perform physical labour and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Be flexible to do shift work range from early mornings to late night and endure long hours in a fast pace environment when required
  • Own transportation is essential and must have a valid Australian Open driver’s licence or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
